Aida Bozha

Registered Social Worker

Aida is committed in providing a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space.  Allowing you the freedom to openly express your concerns and feel accepted and treated with respect and dignity.

She works with you to provide an individually tailored, strengths-based, client-centered approach incorporating a variety of therapy techniques.  Using a combination of brief solution focused strategies, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy) and motivational interviewing techniques to assist you in achieving personal growth and enhancing their quality of life.

Aida Bozha is a Registered Social Worker and earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Gothenburg-Sweden. She has almost 20 years of combined experience in a variety of mental health fields. She brings experience supporting a variety of people offering counselling for individuals, families, and teens. Aida is registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Grief Counsellor

Aida’s experience working as a care coordinator supporting patients and families faced with end of life situations values her expertise as a grief counsellor. Aida brings compassion and empathy to her work. Grief and bereavement counselling includes psychoeducation on the tasks of mourning, typical grief reactions, grieving styles, and exploring loss history. Aida helps engage the client (person who is experiencing the loss) on cognitive or behavioural restructuring as needed.

Therapy during COVID-19

Counselling appointments are available in-person, by phone, or virtually via a secure video link. Appointments available on Friday evenings and Saturdays.

In her spare time, Aida enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, travel and being outdoors.
