Amanda Kurgatnikov, MSW RSW is a Registered Social Worker providing counselling / therapy for adults and teens.  Amanda values building a strong relationship with her clients and providing a safe space for expression. She believes that you hold the reins to your life, and is here to listen, provide tools, and help navigate so that you feel like your best possible self.

Amanda Kurgatnikov is a Registered Social Worker and she completed her MSW at the University of Toronto. Amanda specializes in supporting teens & adults in finding practical solutions and building emotional toolkits. Her goal is to help you build on your strengths, increase your resilience, and enhance your coping skills. Amanda has experience as a psychotherapist in communication skills, relationship challenges, anxiety/depression, self-esteem, ADHD, OCD, and more.

Amanda draws from a variety of modalities including:

  • Strengths-based
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Narrative therapy
  • Trauma-Informed care

Amanda’s approach is non-judgmental, empathetic, culturally sensitive, and trusting. No matter the challenge in front of you, Amanda can help you explore your feelings to heal any self-doubt, manage anxiety, and breakthrough uncertainty.

Therapy sessions available in-person at Ohana Wellness Clinic in Bloor West Village.
