Postpartum Massage


Congratulations, your bundle of joy has arrived! Your body has undergone so many changes, in a relatively short period of time.

If you have had a c-section, not only are you recovering from carrying your baby for nine months, but you are also healing from surgery.

Massage therapy can be an effective tool for helping in the first few weeks to months after delivering a baby:

How soon after having a baby can you have a massage?

We get asked this question a lot! There is no specific waiting period to have a massage. After a c-section, specific modifications are made to make you as comfortable as possible and to avoid any unwanted pressure on your incision.
