Andrew Goldstein is a Registered Social Worker providing psychotherapy and counselling services for individuals and couples. He received his Masters of Social Work from Yeshiva University and received certified training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from the Adler Institute.
Andrew’s career began in New York where he gained experience working with individuals who suffered from substance abuse, physical and sexual trauma, OCD, anxiety/depression, and life transitions.

Andrew aims to best understand your goals for therapy and work together to successfully meet them. He has experience in relationship issues, grief counselling, spirituality, parenting struggles, marital issues, anxiety/depression, and more. Andrew incorporates a variety of modalities, such as mindfulness, narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Andrew’s approach is strengths-based, empathetic, non-judgmental and culturally sensitive.
Andrew has received further training in cognitive behavioural therapy, brief strategic family therapy, and trauma based care.
What is CBT?
CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. A goal-oriented type of therapy that uses a gradual practical approach to problem-solving and working towards changing one’s behaviour. It is commonly used for people suffering from anxiety disorders such as social anxiety. It is also beneficial for supporting those suffering from depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, eating disorders, sleep disorders, and more.

Virtual Therapy appointments are readily available with in-person appointments available on a case-by-case basis. Virtual appointments are available via a secure video link or via telephone.
