We have the right Psychotherapist for you.

Our mental health team consists of both Registered Social Workers, and Registered Psychotherapists, each offering their own additional post-graduate training, providing their own unique and expert approach to care. Our diverse team has experience in helping individuals, couples, families, children, and youth, with some therapists having over 30 years experience and others who are new to their field.

Psychotherapists

Shannon Burton, MSW RSW

Shannon is a Registered Paediatric Social Worker. Her years of experience working within the school board and hospital settings has given exposure to a wide spectrum of youth and child related mental health concerns. Shannon provides support for children, as well as parents. This mother of two has been described as passionate, genuine and energetic. Andrew Goldstein, MSW RSW

Andrew is a Registered Social Worker in practice since 2017. He aims to best understand your goals for therapy and work together to successfully meet them. He has experience as a psychotherapist in relationship issues, grief counselling, spirituality, parenting struggles, marital issues, anxiety / depression, and more. Andrew incorporates modalities such as mindfulness, narrative therapy, internal family systems (IFS), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and a strengths-based approach. Amanda Kurgatnikov, MSW RSW

Amanda is a Registered Social Worker, she values building a strong relationship with her clients and providing a safe space for expression. She uses a strengths-based approach, narrative therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and provides trauma-informed care. Amanda’s approach is non-judgmental, empathetic, culturally sensitive, and trusting. No matter the challenge in front of you, Amanda can help you explore your feelings to heal any self-doubt, manage anxiety, and breakthrough uncertainty. pablo petrucci

Pablo Petrucci, RP

Pablo is a Registered Psychotherapist. He earned his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. He draws from multiple frameworks – Mindfulness, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Trauma-Informed and Solution-Focused Therapy – and tailors them to your needs. His approach is genuine, empathic, strengths-based, client-centred and culturally sensitive, while establishing a nonjudgmental and safe space. Pablo has had experience in many different areas, one of which in particular was working with Men’s mental health. He offers his services in English and Spanish. Alina Philip, RP

Alina is a Registered Psychotherapist and holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. She enjoys working one-on-one with adults and children (10 years and up) but also offers couples and family therapy. Alina works from an eclectic, client centred, trauma-informed, and strength-based approach. She applies an approach to psychotherapy focusing on equipping clients with skills and resources to overcome barriers and achieve wellness in all areas of their lives based on their individual goals. Alina incorporates a number of therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and internal family systems (IFS). James is a Registered Social Worker providing therapy for individuals and couples. His experience includes a variety of psychosocial and mental health concerns. James provides therapy for ADHD, addictions, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, mood disorders, and more. Trevor Zimmer, Student Therapist

Trevor is currently a Therapy Student at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. He works closely with a highly experienced supervisor to ensure that he provides therapy that is appropriate and high quality. Trevor works to create a strong relationship with his clients leading to new awareness. He understands how difficult and painful things can get and is committed to working with you in a caring way. His aim is to work together and examine what is bothering you and holding you back from a life in which you feel more connected, balanced and empowered. Providing Therapy during COVID-19

We’ve seen an increased demand for therapy especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic. It affects everyone in one manner or another, either indirectly or directly. It’s normal to experience different emotions in response to added stress. Tensions elevate as we attempt to navigate life’s “new normals”. Our team of Psychotherapists are here to help you overcome your obstacles during this unique time.

Therapy appointments are available in-person, virtual over a secure video link, or by phone.

Amanda Kurgatnikov is dual registered in Ontario and British Columbia allowing her to offer virtual appointments to residents of BC.

How to get started

Congratulations on taking the first step. Deciding to start therapy can be the hardest step. Many people express relief after the first couple of appointments and wish they had started sooner. Speaking with a trained professional provides insight, brings inner peace and happiness, and allows you to work through the elements in your life creating stress and grief. The therapeutic journey can vary depending on the person. Some people need support getting through a difficult time in their lives.
